The National Hellenic Museum is the second oldest American institution dedicated to displaying and celebrating the cultural contributions of Greeks and Greek-Americans. It was created to promote an understanding of the rich cultural heritage and traditions of both ancient and contemporary Greece, as well as  provide a focus on the Greek-American immigrant experience. The museum, located at the corner of Halsted and Van Buren, has a rich history in Chicago. It’s wonderful exhibits and programs, often in partnership with the Field Museum, are open to all.
