During my recent trip to Miami for SWIM Fashion Week I wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle yet be close to the action and South Beach and definitely be on the water. My research led me to the Sonesta Hotel Coconut Grove.

Coconut Grove
is located in Miami in a lovely bayside community on the coast of Biscayne Bay and adjacent the Coral Gables right in the middle of an artistic community.

Getting to the Sonesta Hotel was very easy right off the main highway with easy access to their entry where friendly valet’s were there to take my car and my luggage.

During my stay I needed to drive to South Beach several times and found the process to be painless. I called the valet for my room and by the time I got downstairs my car was ready along with friendly instructions on how to best get to South Beach or any other location I was interested in. No matter how late I got back to the hotel, there was always both a security guard as well as a friendly valet to take my car. The time it took to get to South Beach was minimal and I enjoyed the serenity of getting away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach.

**Side Note: the cost of the valet service is $25 a day
