Hershey Park in the Winter Preview - 4 Million Lights and Family Fun

I was taking my ‘usual’ stroll in Times Square with my granddaughter and daughter.  First stop:  The Hershey Store.  I’m easy.  If you’re going to give me chocolate in any shape or form, just give me a Hershey bar and a glass of milk.  That’s what they’re missing.  The milk.  There should be a milk station.  Or maybe, God Forbid, an all-you-can-eat station.  Maybe it’s good they don’t’.

The store is Heaven Sent for chocolate fiends like my entire family.  Although I was there with a small part of my family, I managed to spend enough money that I needed a heavy-duty bag to take it home.  Problem was, their mix-and-match deals were scooped up by the other generations in my family and I wound up with a measly little bag of Hershey dark kisses, which was half-way eaten before I got home.

But, hey, it’s another world when you go that fabulously-aromatic store.  It’s always crowded and not only with tourists.  It’s a fun store and if I feel I need that ‘chocolate boost’ I am there.

So, with all of us, 10 in total, we decided to do a trip where we can indulge not only in Hershey bars and the like, but in the atmosphere of Hershey Park in Pennsylvania.

When most of us think of Hershey Park, we think of summer activities, a place to take the kids, the rides, the services, etc.  But summer is gone and we all want to go.  Therefore, this is a PRE Hershey visit article for those of you who think Hershey only happens in the summer or early fall.

Check out what’s going on during the fall and, especially the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday season!

I will be back with more pictures after my family returns from a very highly anticipated vacation!
