Jean Philippe Pâtisserie at Bellagio always brings amazing creations to every holiday season and this year is no different. Jean Philippe Pâtisserie’s talented pastry team worked for three months to transform the holiday-despising Dr. Seuss character into a sweet symbol of holiday cheer. You can’t miss the infamous Grinch as he overlooks the all the sweet tooth’s that fill the European-inspired pastry shop as guests gobble up the wide selection of miniature seasonal treats. While the Grinch might normally scowl upon all the happiness that he is overseeing at Jean Philippe Pâtisserie, this year he might have a bit more sweet of an attitude seeing that he is filled with sugary goodness, made from 50 pounds of chocolate and 112 pounds of sugar-rolling fondant, an icing-like decorative ingredient. His notorious grimace is instead a hand-carved grin symbolizing his revelation of the true meaning of the holidays. Standing tall at five feet six inches, the Grinch is surrounded by a wonderland of ornaments and gifts galore made from chocolate and colored fondant set in a bed of fluffy white snow. This is the one time that the Grinch is picture worthy.
