United Airlines has launched a new nonstop daily service from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Atlantic City International Airport. The ExpressJet departs Chicago at 8:20 a.m. Central time. The return flights leave Atlantic City daily at 11:52 a.m., arriving in Chicago at 1:10 p.m. Central time. Spirit Airlines also offers special nonstop air service.
Mayor Guardian announced the latest Atlantic City features recently at a media event at Chicago’s Sub 51 Restaurant, beautifully decorated in a special AC sun and sand motif.
This special appearance by Mayor Guardian and key marketing and convention personnel showcased many of Atlantic City’s diverse offerings. There was special live entertainment from Legends in Concert performers Lady Gaga and Liza Minnelli singing some of their favorite hit songs.
Among the many reasons to visit Atlantic City in the upcoming months is the DO AC Sand Sculpting World Cup from June 19 to July 6. Ten world-renowned sand sculptors will make remarkable sand scenes to wow your imagination.
August 22 to 24, visit the Beach ‘n Boat Fishing Tournament where several thousand anglers will vie for the eight prizes for fish caught on AC beaches and boats.
Lady Gaga will be performing live at the historic Boardwalk Hall on June 28, On July 4, you can attend one of the nation’s best Fourth of July fireworks shows. The DO AC Pro Beach Volleyball is September 5 to 7 while the DO AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade returns September 27 and 28.
And don’t forget that Atlantic City is also home to the Miss America pageant as well as dozens of other special events through the calendar year. Travel media always recognize the destination as among the nation’s best places to dine, shop, sunbathe, gamble and celebrate any and all special events.
