Perfect splendor for the Magic Kingdom.
The Peabody Experience
Peabody Hotel - Orlando

The Peabody Orlando's unique elegance.
Luxury abounds at The Peabody Orlando from the cascading waterfall (that reminds me of Trump Towers in New York City), the beautiful upscale ambiance of the lobby, the lounge and the many guest services available. A smiling fresh faced bell hop greeted us at the majestic entry way as the valet offered to park the car. I immediately got the feeling of true hospitality that seems to radiate from the hotel. Check in was a snap and again the staff seemed genuinely concerned with our well being and comfort asking if we would care for any extra amenities upon our arrival.

Elegant and cozy double king room.
It had been a long drive and my party and I were somewhat spent and so we went straight to the rooms to refresh before heading for the B-line 24 Grill houses on the lobby level of the hotel. Upon entering our deluxe double room I was extremely pleased at the quality and tidiness of the room as well as the additional luxuries within. Everything from the view from the 21st floor of the beautiful city of Orlando, the memory foam mattress and down filled bed spreads to the very cool 12 inch digital television in the bathroom!

Single king suite.
This grand home away from home seemed to envelope my party and I in extreme comfort and added amenities. Several of us explored the hotel's magnificent pool and Jacuzzi while others took to the professional trainer awaiting us in the Nautilus gym room, the steam room and the sauna (each privately housed one for men and a separate one for woman) meeting in an enclosed whirlpool that bubbled away any remaining tension from the drive down.

The Ducks are honored guest also.
The Peabody's symbol is a duck and with good cause since the little creatures make their own way into the lobby and the superb marble fountain each day at eleven am. Even these birds seemed to be completely at ease and enjoying the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Peabody Orlando.

The Lobby
Overall, this hotel had every offering that I like in a hotel right down to the courteous staff throughout , high speed internet access everywhere, 24 hour cafe (B-Line), high class dining and a cozy lounge. What more can you ask for in a home away from home!
Capriccios Grill Restaurant - Brunch

Capriccio Grill
If you are in Orlando on a Sunday between 10 and 2 pm visit Capriccio's Bar and Grill at The Peabody Hotel for a mega-brunch!
Fine dining and a bar are available at this large and inviting restaurant. Upon entering you will immediately notice the very classy and comfortable over stuffed chairs lining a glass wall of windows adjacent to the full bar. This bar area is perfect for a cocktail or a coffee. However, when I arrive Sunday for brunch the glass wall was lined with at least a half a dozen tables beautiful displaying 'finger foods' including fruits, vegetables, a full salad bar and various pates'. As my eyes roamed the mounds of deli meats and various prepared salads like the crab, lobster and shrimp salad I noticed another room!

The Peabody Hotel and Resort
Helping myself to a bit of the pate and salad my eyes lead me into yet another beautiful display of culinary indulgence. A chef and his knife await with meats such as Lamb, Roast and Pork all cooked to a juicy perfection. This room offered a wall of elegant silver warming trays that opened to revel an assortment of potatoes, bacon, eggs and toast. Once again I helped myself to a few items and proceeded to the main dining hall. An elegant room with semi private alcoves as well as plenty of open seating for large groups.
As I walked toward our table and into the main dining room I was 'wowed' at yet another full length buffet this one filled with a colorful assortment of deserts, fruits and creams. Everything from Pistachio Creme Brule', chocolate eclairs to fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Yum!
Finally, I made my way through the nice brightly lit packed dining room, our waiter was very prompt and had at least one waiter standing by to assist him. I would like to add that the waiter Juan was extremely diligent in keeping our table free from dishes and trash, brought fresh silverware each time anyone revisited the buffets and explained, to my amazement that across the room was yet another line up of hotcakes, Belgium waffles and Pizza! Of course I had to visit. The open hearth fire place warming the backside of the grill as I gathered a small plate of waffles, cream butter and warm maple syrup.
Everyone in my party left feeling positive and of course stuffed! I would absolutely recommend this delightful Sunday experience to Orlando's visitors and locals alike! A feast fit for a king!

High speed internet in style
Capriccios Grill Restaurant - Dinner
The best fillet mignon in the city - any city, a sign boast in the hallway. That being said I wanted to find out since I have
sampled fillets in restaurants from Florida to Hawaii!
The night time dining experience at Capriccio's bring out the cozy
\warmth of the hearth fire backing the huge grill and the feeling of classy elegant dining. I noticed the main dining room was again full as we were escorted to our table. The waiter informed us of some delicious special entrees including the fact that all the meat served at this revered steakhouse is freshly cut and sent from Colorado.

Perfect place for a conference.
Of course I ordered the fillet with and with generous double portioned side items we elected to try a variety of such as mashed potatoes, creme spinach and a sauteed mushroom medley. Also, I liked that I had the choice of spinach, ceasar, side salad or caprese (sundried tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil).
A very nice presentation and the meat was melt in your mouth delicious! A cut above the rest!
For dessert we were offered a choice of their signature dessert shooters. This eight pack rack of mini deserts inside short slender glasses was appealing treat. I choose the strawberry truffle cup and it was creamy, delicious and the perfect ending for my palette.
The service was excellent and the food very well prepared. A nice inviting dining experience located in the Peabody Orlando Hotel.
The B-line Grill

The B-Line Diner
Housed at the Peabody Orlando Hotel the B-line Grill is a great escape into the 50's with its chrome bar, open kitchen and delicious menu selections. Open 24 hours it provides exactly what the weary traveler just arriving or the midnight 'snacker' needs to indulge. With everything from grilled burgers to seafood pasta to a display case of outrageous desserts the B-Line Grill has something to offer for everyone.
Set in a relaxed 1950's style cafe the restaurant while very cozy seemed to able to accommodate large and small groups alike. Some people enjoyed milk shakes while others feasted on steaks and seafood. A real old style c.d. jukebox fills the air with sounds from that decade as you relax in comfortable padded booths or at the giant chrome bar lining the entrance. Drop a quarter in a be transported back to the older days when bobby socks ruled.
The robust menu serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The late night dinner I experienced there was perfect for the mood of my party. Everyone ordered various choices that suited them. I enjoyed and was surprised to see an oriental noodle soup called 'The Asian "BIG" Bowl', while other member of my party dived into the B-lines hearty chicken pot pie. The other two order tasty looking pasta dishes one with 'a catch of day' and one with grilled portabello mushrooms.
The service was prompt and courteous and even suggested a few things from the menu. The waiter was extremely diligent and it was nice to have the extra attention in a casual setting. Everyone was stuffed from the generous portions but having seen the desert display no one could resist I ordered the double chocolate truffle mousse which was exquisite. I could not resist when my friend offered a bite of her Bavarian Fruit Cake which seem to consist of every fruit imaginable wrapped around a white cake with a light cream filling.
The following morning we enjoyed a luxury breakfast of the famous Peabody Hotcakes with light sour cream base, a fabulous rock shrimp scram with potatoes and I myself enjoyed the 'Handled Hash and Eggs' dish. The rooms full with happy smiling people enjoy what is obviously a delicious breakfast/\.
Truly a haven of casualness in a midst of grandeur at the Peabody Orlando Hotel, the B-line Grill is a must from travelers and locals a like. Wish they had a B-Line Grill in my city!

Relaxing lounge - perfect for playing cards!

The Presidential Suite
Over all I must say that I enjoyed the hotel experience thoroughly. A wonderfully charming tower of class this magnificent hotel would be my first choice when visiting the Orange County Convention Center since it is within walking distance to the facilities. Also, for those , like us, that where there to visit the theme parks we found it to be very convenient. The concierge provided us a map for the short drive to and from the Disney complex and the hotel offers a shuttle service for $10 per person.
