When visiting Reno one of your first trips should be to the Se7en Teahouse and bar.  Adding a bit of flavor, class and culture to the Reno community, this teahouse, cocktail lounge and food venue provides a sanctuary for some quiet time or time to meet up with friends.  Co-Owner Huong Thai, sought to open a space where people can come in and enjoy tea, wine and fine snacks. The tea ramges from organic to herbal, green to red, Asian to European and loose tea to tea bags.  You can also enjoy coffee, sandwiches, pastries and appetizers.  After 6pm, Se7en turns into a cocktail lounge featuring a complete wine list and organic alcoholic and tea-accented wine concoctions.

Truckee River Rafting Project
The $1.5 million Truckee River Whitewater Park is located in the heart of the booming downtown business and arts district in downtown Reno.  The park is both Nevada's and the region's first whitewater park and kayak slalom racing course and totals 2,600 feet in length. The park is rated a class 2 to 3 for difficulty (on a scale of 1 to 6) and features north and south channels that surround a city park on an island in the river, 11 "drop pools" and boulders for kayaking maneuvers, a slalom racing course, and 7,000 tons of smooth flat rocks along the shores for easy river access and spectator seating.
