But you may need a little help finding the the right 'Get Away on V Day.' So I turned to the guy who knows all and writes about it all Eric Rogell behind TheBachleorGuy.com. For me, TheBachelorGuy.com (BG) is the coolest site for men and women looking for the good life and insider advice on the latest and greatest.
For Valentine's, BG has come up with, what I think are, the cool things to do this Valentines whether you are flying solo or coupled up. Take it away BG:
Sometimes your place isn't the most romantic place to spend Valentine's Day. Look around. I'm right, aren't I?
Fortunately, hotels and clubs all over the country are hosting events and running specials for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Don't worry if you don't live in a big metro area, from what I'm hearing from my buddies, a little V Day travel is becoming the thing to do.

If you're in LA, you can have dinner at Magnolia, followed by spa treatments at the Ritz.

San Francisco offers balloon rides and live jazz at Catalyst Cocktails. Gypsy Kings are Live in Chicago on Valentine's at the hob.com

The Gypsy Kings will be playing at The House of Blues in Chicago on Valentine's Day, and you can hit Le Passage, the hot new lounge/supper club after. (Just make sure not to mention the words: Bears, super, bowl, or lose.) Sky Bar Lights Up Under the Stars - miami.citysearch.com Cuddle Up on a Romantic Gondola Rides - www.gondolagetawayinc.com MatchActivity.com's Anti-Valentine’s Day Party at Les Deux
If you're in NYC, stop by Zanzibar for delicious food and exotic cocktails in a sultry lounge setting, after you catch the show at Caroline's Comedy Club.

I know some of you are thinking, "Yeah, but we didn't really plan on leaving the hotel room..." I'm with you. And so are many hotels. Check out the "In Your Dream" package at Dream Hotel in NYC. Starting at $450 for a king room, the package includes: a white garter, a single white feather, massage oil, naughty dice, coconut/champagne truffles, Kama Sutra book and flavored whipped cream. For another $150 they'll add a bottle of Dom Perignon and strawberries for an in-room snack. And I'm assuming an industrial-sized "Do Not Disturb" sign are included as well.
You don't need to leave town to take advantage of a V Day getaway. Check with your local hotels to see what they are offering. Or put your own package together and bring it with you.

But before I do, here's my my Valentine to you: check out "9 on Love" - an Internet Documentary that is getting played all over YouTube. '9 on Love' looks at 9 people's adventures in love and friendship. After watch all 9 minutes of it, you will be asking yourself if you are a romantic or cynic or somewhere in between. I find myself in between these days. You can watch it on-line at: 9 on Love or copy this link into your brower http://www.matchactivity.com/valentines

The Bachelor Guy is also launching BGTV, a regular podcast that in the coming weeks will feature product demos, how-to's, interviews, guides, and more. Short, quick, and funny. The first one is perfect for Valentines - Lingerie 101
Finally, thank you cupid for this holiday, because it gives us all a reason to celebrate and enjoy all the cool culture, restaurants, clubs, and events our cities. Okay, I am outta here - gotta get away!
