The Academy Award winner Ron Howard returns to direct the adaptation of the latest bestseller 'Inferno (2016)' Dan Brown's continuation of "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels & Demons" book series. The third adaptation the latest of Dan Brown’s treasure hunts features Tom Hanks as "Robert Langdon," an art historian and cryptologist. The film has a cast of global actors: Tom Hanks from the United States (The Da Vinci Code), Felicity Jones from Britain (The Theory of Everything), Omar Sy from France (The Intouchables), Ben Foster from the United States (Hell or High Water), Irrfan Khan from India (Jurassic World), and Sidse Babett Knudsen from Denmark (HBO’s Westward). It was shot in the most  alluring and captivating locations in Europe:Florence, Venice, and Istanbul. Inferno opened in the UK on October 14th and in the US on October 28th.

Tom Hanks returns with the director Ron Howard for another round of European adventures filled with a trail of clues tied to Dante Alighieri’s ancient literary masterpiece “Dante’s epic poem." "The Divine Comedy" becomes a catalyst that inspires a macabre genius to unleash a scientific creation of enormous destructive potential. "Robert Langdon" (Tom Hanks) must battle this dark adversary by deciphering a Dante-related riddle, which leads him to Florence, Italy, where he finds himself in a desperate race through a landscape of classical art, secret passageways, and futuristic technology. When the Professor wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia he teams up with 'Sienna Brooks" (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories.  Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to stop a madman from unleashing a global virus that would wipe out half of the world's population.

The film has enigmas to be solved such as anagrams, hidden code words in paintings and on death masks, and lots of references to “Dante's” seven circles of Hell, where the Professor sees unrepentant sinners punished by poetic justice.  The puzzling action thriller has a plot interlaced with relics and religious symbols to wade through with unbelievable photography. It has an incredible story that is well-acted and neatly paced to build up the scavenger hunts that Mr. Brown has created with his knowledge of coded messages, art history, and science.

The long-awaited film adaptation of Dan Brown's thriller 'Inferno (2016)returned to the Italian city of Florence on Saturday (October 8) to celebrate the movie's world premiere.
