Relationship Expert Dr. Paul DePompo’s latest book, The Other Woman’s Affair – Gambling Your Heart and Reclaiming Your Life When Your Partner is Married, is the first book of its kind revolving around “The Other Woman” in the affair. Based on extensive scientific research and client interviews, the authors don't endorse or judge these women, but instead offer sage advice and useful exercises for anyone struggling in a relationship with a married or committed partner.
Many women find themselves falling in love with a committed or married man. Within these relationships, how do these women ultimately choose who they want to be with? Pros and cons can be made for breaking up, creating a new life with a new partner, or remaining in the relationship. Dr. DePompo outlines a four-step game plan for navigating these relationships which include:
• Understanding the stakes of the “game”.
• Resolving your uncertainty and anxiety. Learning tools to explore what’s best for you.
• Taking life “off hold”. Learning how to enjoy life even while in limbo.
• Being able to move forward with or without him.
With the concrete tools and extensively researched scientific principles outlined in The Other Woman, Dr. DePompo exclaims, “It’s my hope that for those that read my book, they will be able to successfully take control over their stuck relationships and find a positive path to a happier and more fulfilling life!”
So much attention is placed on the married woman experiencing infidelity that “the other woman” is left by the wayside. The Other Woman’s Affair specifically addresses these women, and along with outlining a strategy to navigate these relationships, allows these women to reflect on themselves and how they came into this situation. Women will walk away from this book with the tools to reclaim their life and make the best decision for themselves that specifically serves them.
