Valentine's Day Cocktail Recipes - Impress Your Valentine With Your Mixology Skills

Taking that special person out for a night on the town is standard for Valentine's Day. If you are really looking to impress this year, a romantic dinner at home is far more personal. To make the evening even more unique, a handcrafted cocktail will do the trick. Splash Magazines Worldwide has put together a list of Valentine's Day inspired cocktails for you to experience on this special day.

Make Me Melt – STK LA

1.5 oz Raspberry Vodka (Absolut or Stoli)
1.5 oz Orange Vodka (Absolut or Stoli)
1 oz Chambord
1 oz Sprite
1 orange peel
1 whole strawberry

In a mixing glass, muddle 1 whole strawberry. Add raspberry and orange vodka and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and add Sprite. Top with Chambord and garnish with an orange peel.

The Cherry Love Bite – Tilted Kilt

1.25 oz Vodka
3 oz Red Bull
1 oz Sweet & Sour Mix
2 oz Sprite
0.5 oz Finest Call Grenadine
2 Lime Wedge

Fill glass with ice. Gently stir all ingredients with cocktail spoon. Drop lime wedges in glass as garnish.

Cupid’s Arrow - Maia

1.25 oz Brugal Especial Extra Dry Rum
.75 oz lime juice
.75 oz Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur
.25 oz Agave Syrup (1:1 Agave Nectar/Water dilution)
In a pint glass or mixing tin - muddle 4-5 raspberries and ¼ oz agave. Add one thin serrano pepper slice and lightly press. Add the rest of the liquid ingredients and ice, shake hard, strain into a collins or highball glass. Top with ginger beer . Garnish with a skewered raspberry/serrano pepper slice

Ingredients 2 oz Raspberry Vodka 1 oz Crème Yvette 1/2 simple syrup 1/2 lemon juice 1 oz lemonade 4 - 6 raspberry

In a pint glass, place the raspberry, lemon juice and simple syrup then muddle. Add the vodka, Crème Yvette, lemonade and ice. Shake and strain into glass.

Garnish Fresh Raspberry

Lover’s Potion Cocktail

½ oz passion fruit puree 1 oz pumpkin juice (with pepper) ½ pom juice ¾ oz cranberry and cinnamon simple syrup 2 oz pear flavored green tea Mint Elder flower tonic 1½ oz of Hennessy Black ½ oz Amaro Nonino

Add all the ingredients, except elder flower tonic, into a shaker with ice and mint. Then shake. Strain over fresh ice into glass.

Top with elder flower tonic
