The mojito almost more so than any other cocktail seems to get scrutinized in how it is made, where it is made and the fact that most people always feel that their favorite mojito can’t be compared to. With National Mojito Day being celebrated on July 11th, Splash Magazines Worldwide decided to share a couple of mojito recipes that are sure to impress even the finickiest mojito drinker.
The "East Meets West Mojito" is right off the cocktail menu at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza & Grill.
1 ½ oz. Makers Mark
½ oz. Lemon juice
½ oz. Lime juice
½ oz. Agave Nectar
2 ½ oz. Passionfruit Iced Tea
½ oz. Orange Curacao
6-7 Mint leaves
1. Fill shaker half way with ice.
2. Add all ingredients and shake vigorously.
3. Pour over tall glass of ice and garnish with Orange slice and Mint sprig.

Blueberry Mint Red Velvet Mojito
1.5 oz Zing Red Velvet
1 oz Club soda
.25 oz Fresh sour
Method: Muddle mint and blueberries
add all but club soda shake and strain over fresh ice. Top with club.
Garnish: Mint leaf
Glass: Rocks or Highball
