Beer has certainly come a long way in the past decade. Leave the old case of overproduced bottles for the amateurs, now you have beer cicerones who are to be what a sommelier is to wine. The appreciation for craft beer is going to be showcased at the 2015 Great Vegas Festival of Beer, on April 11th, which was declared Motley Brews Craft Beer Day by the City of Las Vegas.
Downtown Las Vegas will be hosting Nevada’s largest craft beer festival from 3 p.m to 7 p.m. and will be featuring 400 brews from more than 100 breweries. Guests will be treated to local breweries including; CraftHaus Brewery, Big Dog’s, Tonopah and such national breweries as; Leinenkugel’s, Goose Island and Red Hook just to name a few. You will also get to attend events that include a doughnut and beer pairing, Intro to Sours and a Beer Vinegar class.
In addition to the endless beer, guests will be treated to live music, beer-infused culinary treats, life-size pub games, a silent disco and a gastropub that features restaurants such as; STACK, Cantina Laredo, Cousins Maine Lobster and more.
Tickets are on sale and priced at $40 for General Admission and $50 for Early Entry, available online until the day of the festival. Pending availability, General Admission and Early Entry tickets will be available at the door for $45 and $55 respectively. VIP tickets have already sold out.
