Summertime Fine - What Are The Trends This Summer.

 Summer, Summer Summertime!

Summertime!!!! Ahhhh  it’s that time of the year again. Time for short shorts, bikinis, beach bodies, vacations, margaritas and lots of fun in the sun. It’s also that time of the year when your make-up routine needs a little adjusting.

Have your ever wondered why your favorite liquid foundation makes you look like a glow bunny in the summer? Well, it’s because heat creates sweat and sweat unfortunately leads to shine. Here are a few tips to create that fabulous summer glow without the shine:

 Sunscreen baby Sunscreen

First start off with your SPF, sunscreen is vital during the summer months, whether you have a fair complexion or a deep rich chocolate complexion sunscreen will always protect your skin from the suns harmful rays.

 Tone it down

If you’re like me you love, love, love your good full coverage foundation. But in the summer months it can suffocate your skin and make you look sweaty. (Not cute) So try using a densely pigmented cream formula foundation or a powder foundation. Always remember to try to stay away form anything liquid in the summer. But if your skin works best with liquid foundation then be sure to seal your foundation with a translucent powder.

A good concealer goes a long way and can make your skin look flawless and efforless. During the summer months, when I want to look “bare face” I personally just put a little concealer under my eyes and I’m out the door. Try using a water proof concealer.

 Bronzer and Blush

Bronzer and Blush, two of the most underrated  make-up products ever!!!! A little bronzer on your cheek bones and in your key areas will bring your look to the next level. Now when using blush you have to make sure that you choose a color that flatters your complexion. And please whatever you do use blush in moderation, you never want to be mistaken for Bozo the Clown. Remember it's always easier to add than to take away.

Don’t forget the MASCARA, for flawless lashes try to wiggle your mascara brush from side to side evenly spreading the product on your lashes. If you're going for a more dramatic look try adding more mascara to the tip of your lashes. Make sure the mascara you use is both water and smudge proof (you don't want to look like a raccoon).

A light color lip stick or gloss will give you that extra pop. For a perfect lip that will last all day, line your lips with a water resistant lip liner and then try a lip tint. Make sure to keep your lips hydrated with lip protectant at least every hour. And don’t forget that the key to flawless make-up is healthy hydrated skin. Try to drink at least a gallon of water each day. Trust me your skin will radiate like never before. It never hurts to try new things just remember that  make-up should always enhance the beauty that you already pocess. Now go out there have fun, laugh, dance and be flawless.
