Alan Buki Salon

While I was visiting the land of OZ this past November, my husband Ronn Moss and I were delighted to meet Alan Buki. His reputation was being gushed over by publicist Vesna Perry and Alan had just done Madonna's hair! I had been in Sydney for about a month and Ronn and I both were in need of a makeover.

Alan is a warm and friendly guy and he quickly made us feel at home by offering us a glass of wine. He looked over our hair and made suggestions to go a bit shorter on me with some thicker bangs and a more choppy layered look. Since the holidays were upon us and this look seemed to make my husband happy, I decided to go with it.

Alan washed my hair with his own line of O&M products which are organic and nutritious. He massaged my scalp and I felt so relaxed and ready for my new do. Then he snipped away strands of my hair and gave me a more messy fresh out of bed look. He added some of his anti-frizz O&M oil that smelled like fresh coconuts and gave me a nice messy blow dry.

Alan has always had a love for hair ever since picking up his first pair of scissors at his grandfather's barber shop as a kid. He knew that was his passion and wanted to make people feel beautiful. So he started his career at the tender age of only sixteen! And thus his career has taken him across the world as he made a name for himself in fashion.

Alan has been features in magazines such as, "Vogue" and "Marie Claire." He has also styled celebrites like Miranda Kerr, Richard Branson and Madonna, which has led to the creation of his own products "Original & Mineral" or "O&M." They are low in chemicals and great for your hair!

Alan has over 21 years of experience and a passion to educate, inspire and nuture others with achieving that salon-style look at home. I can attest to the fact that he has a contagious personality and charm to go along with that talent. So if you want to have a great makeover, go see Alan for yourself! Visit Alan at
