Jessica Capri was born in San Luis Obispo, and raised in the city of Paso Robles where green rolling hills, wineries and agriculture are known as the "Slo life style".
Living in a "AG" city Jessica rode her first horse at preschool and was obsessed with horses. At age 7 she attended a horse camp and started riding. Soon she was training for Three Day Eventing by trainer Andrea Baxter at Twin Rivers Ranch where Silver/Gold Medalist Gina Miles also trained.
At age 9 Jessica started competing in Three Day Eventing then switched to Gymkhana and Barrel Racing. After the loss of her state champion horse her passion for horses diminished.
She trained for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) briefly then dove in, headfirst to singing, dancing and modeling. Attending Millennium Dance intensive in NoHo she primarily trained in hip hop and heels with multiple well known choreographers such as Shane Sparks, Brooklyn Jai and Jersey.
Jessica discovered the city of Los Angeles, met a producer, recorded 9 tracks and experienced LA at its worst with an unscrupulous producer. That didn't change her dreams. She met another producer who taught her how to register her music. She recorded another three tracks and is still recording. She is also passionate about modeling. She is on the runway and loving it. She has modeled in runway shows such as, Rock that Fashion IV, V & VI, LA Live--Styled to Rock, LA Fashion Council at the Grove, Viet Fashion Week, Essex Skyline Fashion Show, Barraco Brasil Fashion Shows, and OC Fashion Showcase Spring.
Jessica has modeled for designers such as Andre Soriano designer in Rihanna's new show on Bravo Styled to Rock, Miya Hanson, Puey Quinones, Vilorija by Jelena Vujanovic, Grace by St. John, FBF by Checka Francesca, Deanna Hodges Collection, Brent Bryant, Black Licorice, Sherri Hill, Sugarpuss, Cosmo and Natalia, Have Faith Swim, Daniella Rocha --Barraco Brasil Swim, Vicky Nguyen--Bedazzled Swim Inka -- ISM Mode Jennifer Lynn, and Melissa Simpson to name a few.
She would like to do print work for catalogues soon. You can also see a glimpse of her in music videos with E40 Lil Jon “Ripped,” Cappadonna “Hand Up,” and Chester See “Whistle while you work it.”
This past weekend Jessica worked with Marika Kicka Costume for Metropolitan Costume Designer Fashion Week. Watch for her on the fashion segment for A Good Day LA Tuesday October 29, 2013.
