Like any up and coming aspiring talent, model Corrina Gonzalez has dreams of making it big as a professional model. She has graced the runways from New York as a Missy Elliot Adidas Campaign Model Ambassador, to the runways of Los Angeles for Fashion Week.
The only word to describe this young lady is “passionate.” Her hard work ethic, never-give-up attitude and ambitions of becoming successful and as she say’s, “tearing up the runway,” are refreshing especially in a society built around instant gratification.
Since the age of 14, this multi ethnic (Cuban, German and African-American) model has dreams of walking the runways in Europe and Asia. With years of runway practice, photo shoots and appearances in commercials, sitcoms and web advertising, she has definitely served her time in the trenches of the fashion industry.
Besides modeling, Corrina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Electronic Communication Arts with a concentration in Media Marketing from San Francisco State University. While in college, she interned as a marketing specialist for NuvoTv, a major television network and was co-host for a radio show on KSFS, San Francisco. She also managed to carve time into her busy academic schedule to be a publicity writer and director in charge of marketing and advertising sales for HerCampus.com, the #1 national online magazine for college women.
When she is not “tearing up the runway,” Corrina works as a public relations and marketing specialist where she can translate her passion for fashion and style into creative and progressive marketing ideas and event planning concepts.
After her modeling career, Corrina hopes to one day fuse these talents by owning and operating one of the industry’s top talent and modeling agencies.
