Born in one of the most beautiful coasts California has to offer, Monterey, is where Clarissa Thibeaux has her roots set in. Since an early, Clarissa was always attracted by the arts and wasn’t long before they began to consume her time.
As a daughter of a Cellist, Thibeaux was encouraged to express her creativity. At the age of five Thibeaux had dreams of someday becoming a recognized world choreographer; however those dreams would abruptly change due to missing an opportunity for the limelight.
After several career changes, Thibeaux decided to focus her talents in the art of acting, and since the young age of 13 acting has become her passion. During her high school years she was constantly involved in theater performance, and also worked on several plays in the local theatre in her hometown.
During her collegiate years at the San Diego State University, Thibeaux was given the opportunity to study abroad in the city of love, Paris. While living in Paris, she traveled throughout Europe and became enamored by the culture. She later returned to the states to graduate from SDSU with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts, emphasis in performance and a minor in French. Shortly after her graduation in May of 2012, Thibeaux decided to head to the only place where her dreams of acting could come true, Los Angeles.
Upon becoming a new resident in Los Angeles, Thibeaux became a bar patron in Paul Schrader and Bret Easton Ellis’ The Canyon only weeks before being cast in the feature film Bruno & Earlene Go To Vegas – now being screened in film festivals worldwide. Thibeaux has also appeared in several commercials, films, short films, and a web series. She has also participated in photo shoots since her stay in LA. In her free time she can be found working as a stylist for music videos and photo shoots, and also loves to ice skate and write.
Clarissa Thibeaux is very thankful for every opportunity she’s been given and is awaiting for more to come in her future.
