King Green the Party Krasher is a Pop/Rap/Alternative recording artist from Chicago, IL who relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams with music. His musical influences include; Johnny Cash, Kanye West, Queen Aerosmith and Jemi Hendrix to name a few.
He was inspired to pursue music and take it seriously after seeing a fellow Columbia College Chicago student named Jeremih sign to Def Jam Recordings and become a Billboard charted recording artist. King Green says this was an aspiring artist he use to see perform at U of C talent shows. His musical inspiration at the time was Finding Forever, the seventh solo album by Chicago Rapper and actor Common.
King Green the Party Krasher musical influences vary from Johnny Cash, Kanye West and Queen to Aerosmith and Jemi Hendrix which is why his artistry is expressed from a Pop/Rap and Alternative Rap perspective. He admires the business savvy of several notable individuals in Hip Hop such as; Jay-Z, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Russell Simmons and Rick Ruben because he's watched these guys do several things he always believed could be done regardless if you originated from an artist driven creative space.
In terms of achievements, King Green the Party Krasher hopes to have an extremely successful career, win multiple Grammy Awards for his work and become and international known, loved and respected artist with a fan base that propels him to stadium status.
Some of his current achievements include being chosen as one of the elite few artists to be featured in the upcoming Myspace re-launch campaign, his current single Reign being featured on the White T movie soundtrack and he's performed at several known venues and/or locations in Chicago and Los Angeles such as; Sawtooth Lounge, Whisper Cafe, The Viper Room, Trip, The Roxy and The Mint.
