From the big stage to the big screen, Hollywood’s newest “it guy”, Andrew Lander has time and time again proven that he was born to act. With a strong foundation in community theatre it was no surprise when Lander decided to submerge himself into intensive theatre studies at the University of Minnesota.
In 2006 Lander realized that center stage no longer gave him the same fulfillment it once did; he wanted more! Lander headed to Hollywood and studied with some of the most notable acting coaches such as Howard Fine and Aaron Spiezer. Honing his skill and perfecting his performance Lander landed roles in The Office and The Amazing Spider Man. Playing opposite Robert Downey Jr. in this summer’s much anticipated Iron Man and featuring key scenes with Miguel Ferrer have helped to establish his title of Hollywood’s next “Rising Star”.
Following his film success, the North Dakota native has also dabbled in commercial acting, securing a nationwide Dunkin’ Donuts commercial that will be saturating the market this summer. With reoccurring roles on two web series, Lander has become the new multi-media definition of a quadruple threat- theatrical, film, Internet and commercial actor.
