Spread Your Wings and Fly when the Air Force Soars into Promenade Temecula Starting August 16th!

Date: August 17, 2013

The U.S. Air Force is landing its F-16 at Promenade Temecula, and you’re invited to take a tour! This exciting exhibit is free to the public from Friday, August 16 to Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The exhibit, Command Center Alpha, will bring a one-of-a-kind experience to Temecula where visitors can explore the latest tools used by the Air Force, including 3-D computer graphics, videos, audio, video games and digital downloads.

With cutting-edge technology like augmented reality and RFID, guests will experience what it’s like to be a U.S. Air Force pilot by participating in a number of hands-on activities, from remotely piloted aircraft command simulations to recreations of virtual battlefields.

Along the way, guests will discover why the Air Force is known as one of the most high tech branches in the military, and will gain an understanding of the many roles it plays.

On Saturday, August 17 guests can put themselves in the action with a green screen photo of themselves piloting the aircraft! The photos are free, while supplies last.

Guests may register and create a profile for the event online at www.airforce.com/airmanchallenge. Registration will also be available at the event.
