OrganicLeather.com, featuring100% organic leather handbags, apparel, and accessories by designer Rowan Gabrielle, and House of Petals, the Los Angeles floral design studio and event space founded by model Joey House, will present ECO-PETAL, a 10-day sale, July 14-23, featuring organic and eco-fashion lines and accessories, which is open to the public. House of Petals will be introducing their new line of organic flower designs during the event. Eco-Petal will also offer private client appointments with prominent LA stylists, including Jennifer Butler.
Eco-Petal will feature new fashions from both well known and up-and-coming designers, including Stewart and Brown, Debora Lindquist, Del Forte Denim, Tara Lynn Scheidet, and Red Ginger Designs. Designs will range from the casual to the elegant, and all of them will have one thing in common – a deep commitment to sustainability.
Entrepreneur Rowan Gabrielle, who is launching her Organic Leather line at Eco-Petal, says, “Eco-Petal will be an Eco –’Fashion Week’, where buyers, press, celebrities and individuals can come and view the latest eco lines in person.” As the president of the WholeLife Expos & one of the founders of Urth.TV, Rowan took an interest in the leather industry, and found out that not only were the animals raised inhumanly, but that the tanning process was incredibly toxic. As a result of her research and environmental passion, Organic Leather was born. The finale on the Eco-Petal runway will be a one of a kind organic white-suede wedding gown.
