Anthony Wilson Nonet Jazz Guitar—Sponsored by AudioQuest, Vandersteen Audio, & Audio Research Corporation
Anthony Wilson's career in jazz began auspiciously, and as a creative artist he continues to expand and impress. A sensitive and gifted accompanist as well as a formidable soloist, Anthony Wilson has been recording and touring the world with the celebrated vocalist-pianist Diana Krall since he joined her in 2001
for her Grammy-winning CD/DVD Live in Paris (Verve Records). On Wilson's own new album, The Anthony Wilson Nonet: The Power of Nine, listeners can expect sound that will be punchy and dynamic, with many horn crescendos. Diana Krall appears on one track, which will surely become "the" audiophile vocal demo of choice in years to come. Other tracks, such as "Make It Good" and "Amalgamation," will put any audiophile system through its paces, testing rhythm, dynamics, and tonal balance!

Zane Musa Jazz Saxophone—Sponsored by Straight Ahead Records and Classic Records
Zane Musa, an alto-sax player from Los Angeles County, is best known for his powerful performances.
Sometimes referred to as a "shredder," Zane loves to perform and can been seen playing with some of L.A.'s finest jazz musicians. His latest album, Introducing Zane Musa, was recorded using the newly created studio environment and related electronics that are similar in spirit to the legendary Contemporary Records approach but optimized for today's mastering equipment. This second Musa effort by Straight Ahead Records, features Zane on alto sax, accompanied by Danny Grissett on piano, Carlitos Puerto on bass, and
Lorca Hart and Tony Austin on drums. The tunes are, well, straight ahead, and include "Giant Steps," "Blue Monk," and "Someday My Prince Will Come," among others. Available on DualDisc, as well as LPs pressed Over please using Classic Records' proprietary 200gm Super Vinyl Profile technology, Introducing Zane Musa breathes new life into and sheds new light on songs we all know and love. Zane Musa is a force to be reckoned with, and his playing shows that he has the chops to impress an old jazzman like Stewart Levine enough to produce the recording.

Zu Audio Presents The Home Entertainment Show Opening Night Party
Friday, June 2, 2006 Grand Ballroom 10:00 pm–2:00 am
Electronica / Club Music
Sponsored by Zu Cables and Speakers
Zu Audio presents Ming + FS at the opening night party of HE2006.. Attendees will experience a specifically designed array of high efficiency/high fidelity loudspeakers by Zu Audio. This System, along with Ming and FS's music, will provide a sound experience unlike any other.
Never regarded as one-trick ponies, Ming + FS push the boundaries of their hip-hop/drum-n-bass hybrid, peppering it with moody funk and atmospheric electronics. Blistering breakbeat workouts make way for hazy head-nodders and psychedelic jungle rollers, sometimes within the same track. With their reputation established, Ming + FS have been invited to share the stage with some of the most adventurous names in music, such as Run DMC, Moby, Sting, Paul Oakenfold, Kruder & Dorfmeister and The Roots.
Zu has this to say about Ming + FS: Beyond their production prowess, the Ming and FS live show has earned them their biggest following. Their four turntable spectacular is the performance that DJ's from around the world come to see. DMA Magazine's Willy Vega explains "If I started practicing today, I'd still die of old age before I could do that!!!" Performing before masses from 1,000 to 40,000, Ming and FS have shared the stage with the likes of Sting, Moby, Run DMC, Armand Van Heldon, Mark Farina, Paul Oakenfold, The Roots, Mix Master Mike and Kruder and Dorfmeister. Remixing tracks live, creating original works of music using turntables and accapellas strictly, has created such "live only" classics as Black Sabbath, Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliot, Ludacris and Michael Jackson remixes heard only at Ming and FS shows. Fans know that when Ming and FS come to town, it's going to go off!
